Practical help after loss
There is an administrative side of loss that most people don’t see coming.
From Here manages much of the practical work that follows, so families don’t have to carry it all themselves.
The administrative aftermath of a death can involve paperwork, accounts, property, deadlines, and a long list of professionals and organizations to coordinate.
From Here serves as a central point person—taking on much of the practical work, keeping track of the moving pieces, following up with the people involved, and helping move the estate forward.
Settling an estate is more than most families expect.
Most people have never settled an estate before. The process can be complicated and time-consuming—and it arrives during one of the hardest times in a family’s life.
Settling an estate often means taking on responsibilities you've never had before. There are forms to complete, accounts to close, professionals to coordinate, deadlines to track, belongings to sort, and dozens of decisions to make along the way.
You may be unsure where to begin or worried about missing something important. Or you may simply recognize that this is unfamiliar, time-consuming work—and would rather a knowledgeable, experienced professional manage the process than take it all on yourself.
Stay in control. Hand off the details.
Whether you need someone to take work off your plate, coordinate the professionals involved, keep track of the many moving pieces, or simply make sure nothing important gets overlooked, that’s where I can help.
How From Here can help
Many people are surprised by just how much there is to do after a loss. Settling an estate can involve an attorney, accountant, financial advisor, insurance companies, banks, government agencies, real estate professionals, and other service providers. Each handles an important piece—but someone still has to keep track of the whole picture.
One point person for all the moving pieces.
From Here can serve as that point person. I coordinate with the professionals involved, gather the information they need, track outstanding items and deadlines, follow up on next steps, and help keep the entire process moving forward.

How From Here Works
From there, I can take on much of the day-to-day administrative work of settling the estate—from notifications and paperwork to professional coordination, follow-up, documentation, and property-related logistics.
Some families want me involved in nearly every step. Others prefer to handle certain tasks themselves. We'll determine together where my involvement will be most valuable.
The Process
1 Connect
Schedule a complimentary consultation so I can learn about your unique situation, understand where things stand, and get a sense of what you are currently managing. You can ask questions, and we will explore where From Here could step in to take work off of your plate.
2 Assess & Organize
I gather and review the key information, identify immediate priorities, and understand the people, property, accounts, and professionals involved.
3 Build the Plan
I create a customized roadmap outlining what needs to happen, in what order, and who needs to be involved.
4 Manage the Work
I take on the administrative tasks I can handle for you, coordinate with the professionals involved, track outstanding items, and keep the process moving while you make the decisions that require your authority.
Experienced in managing complexity
Before founding From Here, I spent more than a decade in analytical and program management roles at TVA, where my work involved making sense of complex information, building organized processes, coordinating across teams and professionals, and keeping important work moving forward.
As a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), I also bring a strong financial background and a deep respect for accuracy, confidentiality, and careful documentation.
I created From Here to bring those same skills to families facing the administrative work that follows a loss—providing an experienced, organized point person who can see the whole picture and keep track of the details.
Currently serving Chattanooga, TN, and surrounding areas. Virtual consultations are also available.
One conversation can make everything feel more manageable.
You don't need to have everything organized—or even know exactly what kind of help you need—before reaching out.
Tell me a little about the estate, where things currently stand, and what you are carrying. We will talk through what lies ahead and where From Here can step in to take work off your plate and keep the estate moving forward.
